First of all, sorry for the 2 day delay with the mod of the day, it's been busy and I just couldn’t find the time. Anyway, today we picked a real beauty for you. This mod adds a gambling game to the world of Oblivion. It’s called snail racing and it’s really funny to watch. Once you’ve installed and selected the mod, make your way to the Imperial City – Talon district. From here, you leave the city through the town gates. You will now see the snail race parlor on your left.

The snail race place is a large shed with a guy sitting at a desk who will take your bets for a snail race. You can bet 10, 100 or 1000 gold !! Of course you can cheat by reloading the game and until you win the game, but why would you go through the trouble, if you can just give yourself gold with a console command (if you want to cheat that is).
There are 4 snails that will compete in the race and as soon as you have finished talking and have placed a bet the race will start. Of course the snails won’t go very fast, but there is a little competition going on as one takes the lead and sometimes another will still catch up. If you bet high enough (depending on how much gold you have) it’s certainly very entertaining to watch. I think the modder chose snails because his ‘random speed movement script’ it a little slow (limited by the editor). We shall try to contact Fusey for an interview, maybe he can tell us the story behind this mod, because I think the idea is extremely original.
