Mod of the day : Oblivion Overhaul

This mod takes all the game balancing mods together, improves on them and adds even more features that no other game balancing mods have offered until now. The levels of all the NPCs and creatures have been modified, so now you won’t always know that you’re fighting creatures from the same level as yourself… They could be much weaker, or much stronger..

The main goal of the mod is to make a little more unexpected things happen in the game but on the other hand also make more expected stuff happen. IE: When you attack a guard, you expect him to be very strong, no matter what your own level is. The opposite goes for a simple bandit in the woods. A lot of modifications have been applied to the Vampires in the game, if you are below level 8, steer clear of Vampire hangouts. The Daedra, Dremora and Goblins have also undergone major modifications on their levels of power. You will have to be careful who you attack and where you go exploring, especially at lower levels. I think this mod really makes sense and Bethesda should have released the game like this. The auto level system is not a bad thing per-see, but it was applied to indiscriminately. How realistic is it to become Arena grand champion with a simple level 10 character ? Try that again after downloading this mod : (link removed .. this file has a much newer version now)
