Mod of the day : Path of the Druid
Local News - Mod of the day

Time for another BIG mod of the day.. This mod will allow you to choose a new character type, the Druid. It comes with a complete skill tree, a new set of spells, lots of new graphics and tons more. In fact, there's so many new spells, I highly recommend reading the complete manual (which is found on our download page) to make sure you get the most from it. If you like playing a magic type of character in Oblivion, this might be a nice mod to start a new character and experience the game a litte different.

As you can see from the screenshots, there are some pretty unique effects with the spells. Both graphically and gamewise, you will see some stuff you never thought was possible with Oblivion ... Unless of course you have been using other mods like the complete overhaul or Supreme Magicka mod. I personally really enjoyed this mod and although I did notgo through the entire game with it, I did play my character to level 10 so I could try everything and it all worked smoothly.

That's another important point to note, this mod changes a lot, but has been written very well and does not conflict with other (popular) mods for Oblivion. I had a few of my own running and a few that were recommended in the manual and everything worked as it should.

Mod of the day : Fransesco's optional items and creatures
Local News - Mod of the day

Yes, I agree it's a very long name for a mod. it has a purpose however ;) This mod consists of a lot of 'optional' components. You can basically tweak it (and thereby tweak Oblivion) to your personal needs.

The mod itself applies to nearly every creature and item in the game, instead of each and every creature leveling along with you, some creatures will always stay low level and some of them will always be at a high level, while others use the game's built in auto level feature. This makes the game a much nicer challenge !

It also affects items in the way that you will no longer be able to find so many high level items easily anymore throughout the entire Oblivion game. The mod will make sure a high level item is a rarity as it should be, and you will be stuck with a lot more mediocre items.

All in all, the mod balances the game a lot better then the original creators did and makes it a lot more enjoyable, especially for higher level characters. It doesn't matter if you install it before you begin your quest, or after you have already reached level 25. I guarantee you it will give you a MUCH better Oblivion experience.

Mod of the day :Provost of the Nine Divines
Local News - Mod of the day

Another cool mod for mod of the day ... Not just a little equipment mod, but one that adds to your character's history and abilities. It's great if you want to add some realrole playing element to your character (especially if you are something like a monk or a paladin).

The mod is amongst other things a new set of Crusader Surcoat & Cuirass. But when you are wearing this, you are also allowed to use any of the Chapels in Oblivion. You can take and use anything you find there, containers, furniture, beds, actually just anything in Chapels that are owned by the church of the Nine Divines. Consider them your home. You will also find a pawn shop that is added by this mod, some new weapons and other equipment.

There is even a quest you can get involved in, so plenty to explore in this mod. Titus Cubitus will contact you for the quest.
